Breaking news is the Federal Election will be called on March 23rd, 2025.  One day before the Government was to go back to Parliament.   Mark Carney will go to the Governor General and ask for the writ.  Then the games begin.

Mark Carney and the Liberals have said they will call an election.  This means that Mark Carney must go to the Governor General and follow the procedures, which will outline the date when the election will be etc.  Watch the video below as it will explain better.

Canadians are unsure of the new Liberal leader.  Trudeau has savagely ruined the party in 10 years according to many Canadians who have seen grocery prices, cost of housing, gas for cars and heating for their homes. Many Liberals are saying they are not the party that they voted for 20 years ago.  Knowing that the man who was elected by the Liberal party was the person giving Trudeau advice makes people question how well he will do in his new role as Prime Minister.  He is a business man with NO POLITICAL experience.   He was not voted in by all Canadians (only Liberals), nor was he an elected MP which is rare but happened in history

Let’s make it simple.  If the “Writ” is dropped, the election will be held near the end of April depending on what the Liberals request.  There is a minimum and a maximum time.  We feel that they will give the other parties the BARE minimum.

So first of all you should know who the main parties are.  Or the TWO parties that have won minority or majority status

This is an election that will change Canada.  We can not look at the polls as they will change daily.  Especially with the new Tariffs hitting Canada on April 1st and 2nd.  We need to see what leader will respond the best.  Trump announced the other day that he supports Carney as he will be “easier to work with”  But WE need someone who can get the pipelines built, open the mines, The Ring of Fire .

Canada has trust issues with the new Prime Minister.  Firstly, he was not elected by Canadians.  He was elected by Liberal members only and it has been questioned on the numbers who voted.  (story for another day)  Mark Carney announced that he was taking away the Carbon Tax for individuals.  Instead he is taxing companies, who will pass the tax onto you, but this time YOU GET NOTHING BACK.

Mark Carney has also been very abrupt with reporters regarding his assets.  Calling it a financial conflict of interest.  As a Prime Minister he would have inside knowledge of projects which would mean he could invest in these projects and make money (the simplest of explanations)
